Mark: Walk This Way (Part 42)

The resurrection is more than just an event, the resurrection is a person and his name is Jesus.  Jesus is alive and He is not waiting in the tomb for you to come and meet Him. But He is coming and meeting you where you are life.

Mark: Walk This Way (Part 41)

No longer do we have to wait outside the presence of God. No longer do we need an offering or sacrifice. Jesus is our propitiation and our reconciliation. Therefore we can approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. We can enter into the presence of God with a confession:

Mark: Walk This Way (Part 40)

Jesus suffered the injustice and insults I should have suffered. He experienced the shame and pain I should have experienced. He bore the guilt and curse I should have borne.  Rather than us experiencing all of this, Jesus experienced all of it for us as our substitute. Jesus redeemed us form the curse of sin by becoming a curse for us. Jesus’ death not only means forgiveness of sin, but also freedom from sin.
